Admission to the Foundation Year Program

Admission Requirements

Admission to the International Foundation Year Program is open to recent and expected high school graduates who have the qualifications listed below:

• High school diploma (or local equivalent)
• English language skills equivalent to the B1 level of the European Framework (approximately 57-89 on the TOEFL iBT / 5.5 on the IELTS (Australia) / 5.0 on the IELTS (UK))
  
• A willingness to study in a very diverse international environment

The rolling admission process begins November 15th and ends August 1st. Students who require a visa for Germany should apply by June 15th.  

How to apply

To apply for the International Foundation Year Programs you can use the online application or mail the hard copy application.

If you choose to apply online, please pay attention to the following required steps: 

1. Create an account via CampusNet Online registration form (click on the link to register) with the password of your choice.
2. Confirm your registration following the instructions in the e-mail from the CampusNet system.
3. Initiate the application process via CampusNet Online application form (click on the link to log-in). You can return to work on your application over several sessions.
4. Check if your application is complete by using the 'Check for Completeness' function.
5. Finalize and submit your application by clicking "Submit/Release" button.

NOTE: You will not be able to make any further changes once you submit your application.

After completing the online application, please do not forget to submit the following forms via post (see address below):

•  Recommendation Forms
• High School Diploma (including transcripts of the last three years of high school)
• Test results certifying your English skills
